Just a reminder, Slick magneto SB2-08, SB3-03, AD 99-04-04 250 hour six cylinder impulse inspections are very common and very necessary for the safe operation of your aircraft. It is highly recommended by most manufacturers that ALL Magneto's, regardless of ours in operation, should be professionally inspected every 500 hours, I strongly agree.

Bendix magnetos are recommended by the manufacturer to be OVERHAULED EVERY 4 YEARS REGARDLESS OF ACCUMULATION OF HOURS. That information comes directly from the Bendix manual, and many aircraft owners are unaware of this recommendation.
