Bendix S1200
The 1200 series Bendix magneto is said to have the hottest spark and we can affirm that this is true. We use a specially calibrated test harness utilizing a larger spark gap to accommodate testing the higher output produced by this model of magneto.
500 hour inspections to this magneto typically range from $300-$400 while overhauls are typically in the $500 to $600 price range. The 1200 has many parts, few of which may be reinstalled after being removed, and therefore must be replaced with new parts. Typically any signs of oil intrusion requires complete disassembly and therefore replacement of all parts involved with new parts. Your finished product will have new black high gloss, high temp paint, a new tag, and a fresh yellow tag with signature. As with all repairs, costs and options will be first discussed with the owner before any action is taken.

Bendix Dual 2000/3000 Series
The dual magneto has been removed from TCM's list of products that they sell new. We anticipate a large amount of these models needing to be repaired/overhauled in the coming months and years. We do have parts available.
500 hour inspections can cost $400-$500 replacing typical items. The distributor blocks, distributor gears, and coils can normally outlast the engine TBO, however if any fall outside manufacturer specifications and need to be replaced, the price for an overhaul can jump up significantly so be aware of those situations. All required parts and labor will be discussed with you prior to the repair/overhaul. Your finished product will have a fresh coat of paint as well as a data tag reflecting the overhaul date. We also provide an up to date AD sheet and yellow tag with signature, if required.

Slick 4300/6300 Series
Four and Six cylinder 500 hour inspections generally cost between $300-$400, per magneto based on parts to be replaced. Certain situations may require additional parts to be replaced and will be determined during the estimation process. In these circumstances the repair will exceed the typical cost, however all magnetos are inspected and then discussed with the owner for approval before any work is performed. We are always available for contact during the repair process, and welcome any inquiries you may have.
The current manufacturer cost for a new magneto can easily exceed $1400, and may have limited availability. These current prices make a $500-$600 repair a very economical choice for most customers, and the end product will meet the manufacturers specifications. We will bring all SB's up to date and provide the magneto with my signed and dated yellow tag.

TCM Bendix S20/200 Series
A typical 500 hour inspection estimation puts them around $300-$400 in most scenarios. Due to the fact that there are so many different models in circulation, repairs remain economical even when they cost up to $500 or $600. As with all our repairs, all costs will be disclosed to the customer for approval prior to performing a repair or overhaul. In addition, we can update impulse couplings to new styles, replace entire case halves or modify the style of "p-lead" you use with the magneto.
Finished products look and perform in a manner consistent to the manufacturers specifications. All magnetos being overhauled leave the shop with new paint, new identification tag, signed off airworthiness tag, and AD compliance sheet.
